The No Coal in Oakland coalition is holding this meeting
- Who: Oakland residents. All are welcome.
- Where: DeFremery Park Meeting Hall (1651 Adeline St)
- When: Saturday, April 18th @ 10:30AM-12PM
- Why: to inform the West Oakland community about the current plans to build a coal export terminal near the Bay Bridge, the 10 years of successful organizing that has hindered the project so far, what the next phase of that fight is going to look like, and how YOU can get involved!

DeFremery Park is located at 1651 Adeline Street in West Oakland.

- The park is easily accessible by public transit. It is about a 10–12 minute walk from the West Oakland BART Station, and several AC Transit bus lines run nearby on Adeline Street and San Pablo Avenue.
- There is street parking available around the park, especially along Adeline Street and nearby residential streets. We recommend allowing a few extra minutes to find parking.
- The Meeting Hall is ground level and wheelchair accessible. Public restrooms are available.
- If you have specific accessibility or transportation needs, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
